Police in Prince Albert are searching for a prisoner who escaped custody on Monday.
Courtney Leanne Sinclair, 23, was arrested after police investigated a break and enter. While in custody, police said she complained of abdominal pain and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
At the time of her visit, she was not restrained. Sinclair ran away. No hospital staff members saw her leave, police say.
Members of the Prince Albert RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service made patrols around the hospital, but Sinclair remains at large.
She is described as five feet, five inches tall, 180 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes. When she was last seen, Sinclair wore grey sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, navy blue dock shoes and beige hospital socks.
Police say Sinclair has a previous history of violent offences and should not be approached.
If you have any information on her location, you are urged to contact the Prince Albert RCMP.
