A 46-year-old man has died after a head-on crash on Highway 39 on Monday.
According to a media release from the RCMP, officers from the Milestone detachment were among those who responded at about 8:30 a.m., to a two-vehicle collision about two kilometres northwest of Yellow Grass.
A pickup truck that was travelling northwest on the highway had collided with a refrigerated truck that was headed southeast.
The driver and lone occupant of the pickup was transported to a Regina hospital by STARS, but he later died of his injuries. The two men travelling in the refrigerated truck weren’t injured.
The RCMP said alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
