Tate is set to be the starting left tackle after Trevor Reid was released.
Along with casting ballots for mayor and city council, Saskatoon voters selected trustees for their public and Catholic school divisions.

The winners of the Saskatoon Public Schools trustee races are:

Ward 4: Cameron Scott
Ward 5: Colleen MacPherson
Ward 6: Kathleen Brannen
Ward 7: Ross Tait
Ward 8: Suzanne Zwarych
Ward 9: Charmaine Bellamy
Ward 10: Ray Morrison
Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools
The city’s Catholic school division doesn’t elect trustees based on wards. Seven trustees are elected to represent the city, with one more for each of the board
subdivisions of Martensville/Warman, Humboldt and Biggar.
The seven trustees for Saskatoon are:
