8:30 – Cameron Ortis, a senior RCMP official, was arrested late last week, facing charges of obtaining information to pass to a “foreign entity,” breach of trust, and communication special operational information. The charges date back as far as 2015, and sources have told Global News that Ortis amassed “terabytes of information” including a list of undercover operatives. Their sources said Ortis had allegedly tried to sell information back in 2015 and was ready to sell more. Threat analysis expert and former CSIS strategic analyst Phil Gurski joins Drew now to discuss the case.

10:00 – As we begin the second week of the federal election, many polls are showing a tight race between the Liberals and Conservatives, and a tight battle for third between the NDP and the Green Party. To help answer these questions, Drew is joined by Professor Loleen Berdahl, head of political studies at the University of Saskatchewan.

11:00 – With students heading back to school, many young people – and their parents – are concerned about bullying. Troy Scheer, owner of Scheer’s Martial Arts, joins Drew to discuss the benefits of knowing self-defence, including increased self-esteem, and why knowing a martial art makes you less likely to get involved in a physical altercation.

11:30 – Drew is a big fan of movies – even the bad ones. He’s an unabashed Stallone fan (yes, even the later Rambo movies and the “bad” entries in the Rocky series), and says bad movies are often more fun than “good” movies. Do you have a favourite “bad movie” that you’ll watch any time? Give us a call at 1-877-332-8255 to share your favourites and why they’re so good despite being so bad.
