A chain of pot shops, that primarily operates in Saskatoon, has been named the Canadian cannabis retailer of the year.
Prairie Records, a branch of Westleaf Incorporated, won the award at the GrowUp Conference and Expo, beating nine other companies.
“It is extremely gratifying to have Prairie Records be recognized at one of the industry’s largest events and to be able to stand out amongst a field of very worthy retail competitors,” Prairie Records Chief Commercial Officer Adam Coates said in a media release.
Prairie Records combines the experience of shopping for vinyl with buying recreational cannabis.
Product descriptions are on LP-sized plaques you can browse in the same way you would records.
There are three locations in the Saskatoon area and one set to open this week in Calgary.
