Early morning vehicle fire damages garage

Fire crews were called to a fire in the alley behind the 1400 block of Avenue C North just before 2 a.m. Monday.

When they got there, they found a van engulfed in flames.

There was no one in the van, and no injuries were reported.

The detached garage was only damaged on the outside.

A fire investigator is working to determine how the fire started.
