Saskatoon police laid nearly 80 charges on Friday night during a traffic enforcement blitz on 8th Street.
In a tweet, the Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit said most of the offences were for drivers using a cell phone, stunting, speeding and excessive noise.

It happened during Rock 102 Show and Shine weekend that brings car enthusiasts to the city who often cruise classic vehicles down 8th Street.
Police are reminding drivers to keep cruising safe and enjoyable through the weekend.
