The RCMP has charged a seventh person in connection with the homicide of Tiki Laverdiere — 31-year-old Nikita Sandra Cook now faces a first-degree murder charge.
The Onion Lake Cree Nation woman is wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant, because of the murder charge.
Cook also faces a charge of kidnapping.
In an emailed media release, Mounties said that anyone who finds or sees Cook shouldn’t approach her. They said anyone with information about her should call their local RCMP detachment, or Crime Stoppers.
On Wednesday this week, RCMP charged a sixth person with similar charges.
Laverdiere was reported missing on May 12 and was last seen in North Battleford on April 29.
Human remains were found in a rural area outside of the city on July 11. The remains were confirmed to be hers on July 17.
