A man is in custody and two females are wanted in connection to a stabbing that happened on Sunday morning in Saskatoon’s King George neighbourhood.
Police were called to the 700 block of Avenue J South around 1:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, they discovered a 33-year-old man had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Later Sunday morning, police tracked down a 28-year-old man, who’s suspected to be involved in the incident, nearby and took him into custody.
He will appear before a Justice of the Peace Sunday evening.
Police say they’re still looking for two female suspects who may have been involved in the stabbing. However, they don’t have a description of them, including their age.
The Saskatoon Police Service’s targeted enforcement unit is investigating the incident.
