A disturbing incident happened outside St. Paul’s Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
A nurse was robbed of her cell phone and wallet.
She wasn’t injured.
Denise Dick, First Vice-President of the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses, said the union was made aware of the incident through social media posts.
“We understand that she was approached by someone and robbed.
“We received that information secondhand because we read it online once it came to our attention,” said Dick.
She says SUN encourages it’s members to always be cautious and aware of their surroundings.
“We know that we have areas that are higher risk areas where there is the potential for things like this to occur,” said Dick.
Police have charged a 28 year-year-old man with robbery in connection with this incident.
