An Onion Lake man is facing a dozen charges after his arrest on Thursday.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and the Onion Lake RCMP detained 35-year-old Philip Heathen on July 18.
He was hiding in tall grass while officers searched for him on warrants related to firearm offences. During the arrest, Mounties found and confiscated methamphetamine, cocaine and Canadian cash.
The RCMP are charging Heathen with possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, assault with a weapon and assaulting a peace officer.
He’ll face those, along with 8 other charges, in Lloydminster provincial court on Monday.
