8:30 – After months of speculation and uncertainty, the federal government has approved the $9.3B publicly-owned Trans Mountain expansion project, a move which will hopefully bring relief to Canada’s struggling oil and gas sector by increasing pipeline capacity from Alberta to B.C. However, some critics are saying it won’t be enough to resurrect our energy industry, particularly with Bill C-48 poised to ban tanker traffic on our west coast and B.C. Premier John Horgan still strongly opposed to the project. Approval does not mean shovels in the ground, however, so Saskatchewan’s Energy Minister Bronwyn Eyre joins the show to discuss the new pipeline and when our provincial energy industry might start to see some benefits.

According to police, Zada stole money and personal belongings from the women in an effort to control them.
