Damage is pegged at $50,000 after fire ripped through a home in Meadowgreen Thursday morning.
Firefighters were sent to a home in the 100 block of Avenue X South around 7 a.m. after a city worker noticed smoke.
The fire was quickly brought under control and the home was searched.
Nobody was inside, and there were no injuires.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
