'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
Two are in custody after a police chase early Monday morning.
At 3 a.m., Saskatoon Police observed a stolen GMC Sierra with an incorrect license plate.
The SPS Air Support Unit (ASU) located the vehicle and tracked it south of Saskatoon, and after a failed traffic stop the ASU tracked it to various farmyards and acreages in search of fuel.
They also saw an item thrown out the window of the vehicle during the chase.
An RCMP unit successfully deployed a tire deflation device on Meridian Road, and the officer conducted a high-risk stop in a nearby yard.
They successfully arrested a 34-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman from St. Benedict, SK, and were taken into RCMP custody.
