Saskatoon police have charged a second youth in connection to a group attack in Pleasant Hill Park this month.
The 13-year-old boy is charged with assault and breach of a court order for his role in the alleged May 20 attack.
The incident, caught on video by a bystander, shows a swarm of kids punching and kicking a woman on the ground after she was filming them throwing rocks.
Bonnie Halcrow described the attack in an interview with 650 CKOM last week.
Police also announced more arrests Wednesday involving a separate attack in the same area, a week before the filmed incident.
On May 13, two girls aged 10 and 14 told police they had been attacked by a group of youths.
Two 13-year-old girls have been charged in relation to that incident, while a third girl charged is also accused in the May 20 incident.
Police noted they’ve identified several of the other kids involved in the attack, but they aren’t being charged because they’re under 12 years old.
Police continue to investigate both incidents.
