8:30 – Justin Trudeau is set to visit the Poundmaker Cree Nation just west of the Battlefords today in order to formally exonerate Chief Poundmaker. The chief, who lived from 1842-1886, was convicted of treason and imprisoned following the Battle of Cut Knife Creek, despite not participating in the battle directly. Drew is joined by Milton Tootoosis, headman and councillor for the Cree Nation, to explain why the exoneration is still so important more than a hundred years after Poundmaker’s conviction.

10:00 – This week we learned about a shocking incident where a woman was beaten by a group of kids in a Saskatoon park. The victim, 33-year-old Bonnie Halcrow, says she asked the children to stop throwing rocks at an elderly man but was then attacked herself. Halcrow was punched and kicked by the gang of children as her daughter watched in horror. We had a lot of calls about the incident Wednesday, and Halcrow joins Drew now to tell us more about it.

11:00 – Has social media done more harm than good in the world? It’s made our lives easier, but it can also leave people confused and misinformed, and many people get in trouble over social media gaffes. Drew is convinced that social media has caused more problems than it’s solved, but Producer Taylor MacPherson says social media is a big help in our day-to-day lives. They’re going to hash it out on the air next, but we also want to know what you think so give us a call at 1-877-332-8255!
