8:30 – Yesterday the Justice Committee convened to decide whether to recall former Justice Minister Jody Wilson Raybould, but the Liberal-dominated committee voted to adjourn before debating the matter. The committee will next meet on the same day as the federal budget is tabled, leading many to accuse the Liberals of burying the proceedings. Conservative MPs shouted “cover up!” as the committee voted to adjourn Wednesday. John is joined by MP Pierre Poilievre, who was present during the controversial meeting.

10:00 – Canada’s Transport Minister Marc Garneau issued a safety notice Wednesday banning Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 planes from taking off from, landing in, or flying over Canadian airspace. 11:00 – The original paper by Tim Berners-Lee, outlining what would later become the worldwide web, is now 30 years old. With half of the global population now connected online, is the Internet what we wanted? Berners-Lee said the web has made people’s lives easier, created new opportunities, and helped give a voice to the marginalized, but it’s also benefitted scammers and criminals and given a platform to hate groups. 12:00 – The annual Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities convention is set to wrap up today in Saskatoon, and among the announcements this year was an innovation challenge designed to make it easier for rural land users to get permission from landowners.
