A young child, driving an ATV, has suffered serious injuries after a crash with a truck.
RCMP say it happened on a grid road in the R.M. of Miry Creek — a little east of Leader — Tuesday night.
The five-year-old boy was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital in Saskatoon. RCMP say the boy was wearing a helmet at the time.
The driver of the truck was not injured. Alcohol is not a factor.
A section of Highway 738 was closed for a bit to traffic to allow RCMP to investigate. The investigation is ongoing.
