More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
It sounds like we are in for some nasty weather.
A special weather statement was issued for all of central and southern Saskatchewan on Friday afternoon.
It will start with near plus temperatures in the south west part of the province on Saturday.
Into Saturday evening, there will be a mix of rain or snow, depending on where you are.
The northern and eastern grainbelt could see up to 10 centimetres, or four inches, of snow.
On Sunday, the winds will pick up.
The wind will gust to 70 km/h at times, up to 90 km/h in the south west corner of the province.
