10:00 – Jay Riedel helped organize the protest convoy in Estevan Dec. 22, which saw 427 semis roll through the town. He said he was completely overwhelmed by the turnout, and expects big things from the convoy set to travel to Ottawa this year. Riedel joins John now to talk about the “Yellow Vest” movement and the convoy protests popping up across Canada.

11:00 – Demian Newman, a Calgary-based oilfield sales and marketing representative, has penned an open letter to those Canadians who oppose pipeline construction and the oil and gas industry. In his letter, he talks about the crippling harm the end of the oil and gas industry would do to our national economy. Newman joins John now to discuss his letter and the message he hopes to share with anti-oil Canadians.

12:00 – Marthe Cohn, an author and Holocaust survivor, served as a spy in Nazi Germany for the Intelligence Service of the French 1st Army. She’s set to speak about her experiences in Regina and Saskatoon Jan. 8 and 10. Cohn joins John to talk about her time behind enemy lines.
