Saskatoon police say a man is facing numerous charges following a brazen daylight car theft.
Police were called around 8 a.m. Monday to the 300 block of Avenue R South, where a woman reported she was knocked to the ground while loading up her vehicle, which was then stolen.
Officers soon tracked down the stolen vehicle, but the driver allegedly refused to stop.
Police were able to blow out three tires using a stop-stick, but the suspect reportedly kept going on the rims before hitting a police cruiser on Valens Drive.
A police dog reportedly ran the man down on the 1600 block of 33rd Street as he attempted to flee on foot.
No injuries were reported.
