11:00 – Ted Barris, Canadian author, historian, journalist and professor, joins John to discuss his new book “Dam Busters: Canadian Airmen and the Secret Raid Against Nazi Germany.” The book, released last month, explores the Canadian role in the bombings of Nazi dams. Most don’t realize how involved Canadians were in the secret operation, but Barris’ book sheds light on the Canadian connections to the famous “bouncing bomb” project.
