The return of winter in Saskatchewan was having an impact on drivers across the province Wednesday.
Deteriorating conditions prompted a travel advisory from Maidstone RCMP urging drivers to take caution on Highway 16 between Marshall and Paynton. Mounties said the road was snow covered, icy and visibility was poor due to blowing snow.
They also warned about poor driving conditions on Highways 17, 21 and all surrounding secondary highways.
Snowy and icy roads led to several vehicles in the ditches around Saskatoon, while at least two crashes were reported in the city.
