8:30 – Former Saskatoon Police Chief Clive Weighill was appointed Chief Coroner for Saskatchewan last month. Prior to taking on the role, Weighill led a review of the coroner’s office, which made 44 recommendations for improvement. Now he’s in charge of their implementation. Weighill joins John to discuss his new role and his plans for the future of the coroner’s office.

10:00 – The Saskatoon Council on Aging is looking for volunteers in Prince Albert and North Battleford to help tackle bullying among seniors. The volunteers will be trained to give presentations on the issue to other seniors within communal-living facilities, and the training is also available for staff and management. Elliot PausJenssen, project chair of “Building Respectful and Inclusive Communities” with the Saskatoon Council on Aging joins Gormley to talk about senior bullying and what can be done to prevent it.
