11:00 – Dr. Wendy Gore-Hickman, recovery advocate and retired physician, is the keynote speaker at Recovery Day Regina Sept. 19. Rather than focusing on the negative sides of addictions, the event is shining a light on former addicts who have completed recovery. Dr. Gore-Hickman joins John in studio to discuss addiction recovery and ending the stigma.

12:00 – Dr. Barry Heath, a retired veterinarian and former coroner has just released a book on the Humboldt Broncos. The book discusses the history of the franchise and the overwhelming response from the hockey world after the 2018 bus crash. The book focuses on the emergency response to the crash, the need for emotional support, and where the survivors are now.
