Mark McMorris healing after broken leg

Saskatchewan snowboarder Mark McMorris is thanking his fans for their well wishes and thoughts after getting out of surgery.

McMorris took a nasty fall at a competition in California this weekend, fracturing his femur. He was headed into surgery on Monday.

In the post on his Facebook page he wrote, “Words cannot begin to describe the amount of Love and Support I have felt over the past 3 days”. 

He wrote that he had already gotten his surgery, and it was successful “due to all your good vibes and prayers”.

McMorris has won six gold medals in a row at the X-Games and a bronze medal at the Sochi Olympic Games.
