People looking to flee the Bridge City this winter could find themselves with a shorter route to a sunnier spot.
WestJet announced Monday that it will be beefing up its presence at the Saskatoon International Airport.
The airline will add a weekly direct flight from Saskatoon to Orlando, Fla. starting Dec. 7.
WestJet also announced plans to increase the number of available flights to Calgary.
Currently, the airline runs six flights per week to the Calgary International Airport on business days. That will increase to eight flights per week starting this winter.
WestJet’s schedule for winter 2018-2019 also includes a new non-stop, twice weekly flight from Calgary to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
