Tisdale RCMP are reminding parents to talk to their kids about not approaching strange vehicles after a report of an attempted abduction earlier this week.
Two girls, six and nine, were reportedly walking on 100 Street in Tisdale when they were approached by a man driving a white pickup truck, thought to be a Dodge.
He allegedly offered the girls candy and a ride home, which they refused without further incident.
The man driving the truck is described as possibly being in his thirties, with short brown hair, a darker complexion and wearing glasses.
The truck reportedly had passengers inside as well.
RCMP said they patrolled the community and surrounding area, but were unable to find the truck.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Tisdale RCMP at 306-878-3810, or any local police service or RCMP detachment. Tips can also be called in by dialing 310-RCMP, or contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
