Rawlco Radio is teaming up with Remai Modern to offer free admission Wednesday.
This is the fifth event for Rawlco’s Free Admission Program, which sees the art gallery offer six free days a year. The initiative was made possible thanks to a $1 million gift from Gordon and Jill Rawlinson and Rawlco Radio.
Free admission will be available Wednesday from 10 am to 5 pm, allowing people to access all 11 gallery spaces and newly opened exhibitions, including Picasso: Process and Poetry.
“We are very proud of the Free Admission Program at Rawlco Radio. It means a great deal to us to partner with Remai Modern and offer the opportunity to explore this award-winning building and feature its exceptional exhibitions and activities free-of-charge for everyone in our community to enjoy,” Rawlco Radio president Pam Leyland said.
Family-friendly activities will be offered in the gallery’s Riverview Room.
No advance tickets are required, but people are encouraged to arrive early as admission will be based on capacity.
