With families spread out all over the place this Mother’s Day SaskTel is ready for a busy day on its networks.
This year the provider expects more than 1 million people to make calls, 10.2 million texts to go out, and around 105,000 gigabytes of data to be used Sunday.
“We understand it’s not always possible to get together,” said Acting SaskTel President and CEO Doug Burnett in a statement. “It gives us a great sense of pride knowing that what we do allows our customers the opportunity to catch up with mom on her special day.”
With such high volume, SaskTel has some tips to make sure your calls, texts and video chats get where they’re going without a hitch.
For voice calls make sure you have good service and try calling outside the peak hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
If you plan to video chat it’s best to double check your wifi or internet connection first.
