The Mounties are warning drivers to look out for moose on Saskatchewan Highways especially at night.
The caution comes after two separate moose collided with vehicles Sunday night on Highway 5, sending at least one driver to hospital.
The first collision happened at 6 p.m. about eight kilometres west of Wadena on Highway 5. The second collision happened at around 8:15 p.m. about five kilometers east of Kuroki on the same highway. In that crash the moose went right through the front windshield, with the moose’s head landing on the driver’s lap.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
