9:30 a.m. The Winnipeg Jets are one win away from making it to the Western Conference final for the first time in the team’s history. Winnipeg Jets broadcaster Brian Munz joins Murray now to talk about the excitement level in the city as the Jets inch closer to the Stanley Cup.

10:00 a.m. A Saskatchewan man who was charged with animal cruelty after more than 70 dogs were seized from his farm near Riceton is in trouble once again… this time, nearly 50 dogs were found in poor conditions at his new home in British Columbia. Kaley Pugh is the executive director of Animal Protection Services of Saskatchewan and she joins Murray now to explain why Criminal Code convictions are needed to ensure that animal abusers can’t escape the penalties by moving to another province.

11:00 a.m. Saskatchewan authors will be gathering this week for an evening of storytelling. Historian Bill Waiser joins the show to give a preview of the event and highlight the importance of literacy.

12:00 p.m. Last week’s announcement that the University of Regina was cutting three teams from its athletics program isn’t sitting too well with the athletes affected by this decision. Jordon Tholl has been wrestling at the University of Regina for two years and he joins Murray now to discuss why he and his teammates aren’t going down without a fight.
