A 32-year-old Saskatoon man is facing child luring charges after a lengthy investigation by Saskatchewan police and United States Homeland Security.
The investigation began March 2017 after a report was made to the Homeland Security Investigation Office in Phoenix, Arizona.
The complaint stated a young person was communicating online with a man, believed to be from Canada.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit became involved in the investigation, which resulted in an arrest in Saskatoon last Thursday.
Kyle John Van Ham is charged with luring a child and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
Van Ham appeared in court Friday and has been released on a number of conditions.
He is scheduled to appear back in court on May 10.
