Three minors charged in Marean Lake break-in

No one was hurt in a break-in at a Marean Lake home while an elderly couple slept inside on March 22.

According to a police release, the suspects took two pellet guns, a purse, and keys to the couples Buick Enclave—which they used to get away along with another vehicle.

RCMP found the damaged Buick soon after and arrested three minors from Yellow Quill First Nation in connection.

They face charges of break and enter, theft, and mischief.

Police say an 11-year-old believed to be involved can’t be charged because of their age. Officials didn’t provide any other details about the arrested suspects.
