The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo has its newest residents all settled in.
Two mobs of meerkats have been brought in to take over the space formerly occupied by a popular komodo dragon exhibit.
The zoo gave a sneak preview of its new Meerkat House exhibit Wednesday ahead of its April 1 opening to the public.
The new exhibit is meant to make the meerkats feel right at home with sand dunes, termite mound replicas, nest boxes and specially made tunnel systems.

The space will also showcase art by students at Georges Vanier Catholic Fine Arts School, as part of an ongoing partnership that sees kids work with the zoo to create cut-out displays featuring various animals.
Funding for the new exhibit was provided by the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation.
The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through April and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting in May.
