Saskatoon police charged both a driver and his passenger after an altercation in a taxi cab.
Police were called to the 500 block of Avenue M North just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of an injured man.
They arrived to find a 34-year-old cab driver suffering from a stab wound. Paramedics took him to hospital where he was reportedly in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
Officers found and arrested a 30-year-old woman near the scene. She was charged with aggravated assault and breaching her probation.
Police later reported surveillance footage from the taxi showed the driver attacking the woman before the stabbing. He was charged with assault and is due to appear in court after he gets out of hospital.
