Herchak has tallied 18 points in 23 games, placing him in second in scoring among SJHL defencemen.
The Riders return from their bye week as they host the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday at Mosaic Stadium.
The home team is making plenty of changes to their roster with eight names swapped on the depth chart, including six new starters.
