A man is facing charges after the van he was driving clipped a cyclist on Highway 11.
The 29-year-old woman from Whitehorse, Yukon was on her bike heading south on Highway 11 just north of Aylesbury. RCMP say that around 6:20 p.m. Monday, she was hit with the sideview mirror of a southbound cube van.
The woman was taken to hospital with what RCMP call “unknown injuries”. One lane of the highway was restricted until about 7:15 p.m.
The 26-year-old man driving the man is facing one charge of driving without due care and attention.
