A family has already been released from hospital after a truck crashed into their camper in a Swift Current parking lot early Friday morning.
RCMP were called at 2:39 a.m. Friday after the collision on the 1800 block of 22nd Avenue NE. A truck was traveling west on Saskatchewan Drive when it crossed the intersection with Highway 4. The truck dove over a median and went into a parking lot where it hit a parked camper.
A family of six was sleeping inside of the camper – two parents with four children between the ages of three and 10.
The family was taken to hospital where they were treated and released.
RCMP say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
