A young man and woman from Swift Current are recovering after a collision that happened in the city early Thursday morning.
RCMP were called at 2:37 a.m. after a car hit a tree on the 500 block of 4th Avenue SE. A 23-year-old woman was taken to hospital in Swift Current while a 22-year-old man had to be airlifted to the Regina General Hospital by STARS air ambulance.
Mounties say both people suffered “undetermined injuries”. Police haven’t said which person was driving, but do say that alcohol is considered to be a factor.
STAR-9 (Regina) has been dispatched for an inter-hospital transport in the Swift Current, SK area.
