The 2015 Regina Folk Festival will have to find a new headliner.
Sinead O’Connor has announced that she is no longer touring this summer. A statement from the singer’s agent said “she is suffering from exhaustion due to an existing not-resolved medical situation and she has been advised by the doctor to stop any activity and rest”.
Regina Folk Festival organizers say they are already working on coming up with a plan B now that the singer has canceled her performance. Refunds are available for individual Sunday evening ticket holders. However, people are encouraged to wait until the updated line-up has been announced before getting their refund.
The Folk Fest will return to Victoria Park August 7 to 9. More information can be found on the Regina Folk Festival website.
