Frustration abounds in Rider Nation this week as the Green and White try to recover from their fourth straight loss in the regular season.
“When Kevin Glenn throws for 400-plus yards, the game shouldn’t be close, we should be winning,” said one fan.
Some blamed the Riders’ defence.
“Our defence needs to kick it into gear.”
Others blamed the refs, saying they need to be more consistent in their calls.
“I don’t mind the new rules as long as they’re fair for everybody and everything gets called the way it’s supposed to get called.”
Though at least one fan wasn’t blaming the team as all.
“I blame it on the rain,” he joked.
There was one lone fan who didn’t seem to think the team is going too bad.
“It appears, though, they have a good team. They’re just losing close games.”
The losses have been by a margin of 12-points for all four regular season games, total.
So what needs to happen for the Riders to win on Sunday?
“They just need to pull it together, it’s not that we’re not there, we’re scoring the points,” said one fan.
“Defensive coordinator, not Corey Chamblin. We need someone like Richie Hall back,” suggested another fan.
The Riders take on Hamilton at Mosaic Stadium on Sunday.
