Roughrider fans have obvious concerns as the Green and White head into the fourth game of the season still looking for a win.
“We need some defensive help,” said Don Anderson.
A double-overtime 42-40 loss to Toronto followed by a narrow 35-32 overtime defeat in B.C. has fans hungry for a victory in regulation.
“How do you score 40-some odd points and still lose a damn game? I still don’t know,” said Anderson.
The fans’ faith may not be at the highest in its history, especially after quarterback Darian Durant’s second season-ending injury in as many years, but they say it’s still too early to start worrying.
“Well, it’s not the best start to the season but they’ve done this before and kind of come back,” said Cheryl Church.
Saskatchewan is the only team with an 0-3 record and sits last place in the league. The Roughriders host the B.C. Lions on Friday at 8 p.m.
