Only two days before tee-off in one of the most competitive tournaments in the world, Saskatchewan golfer Graham DeLaet has asked an airline where his golf clubs are.
DeLaet tweeted to Aer Lingus Sunday night that “enough is enough” and that he needs his golf clubs to compete in the Open Championship in Scotland.
The tweet quickly garnered responses including from former NHL player Mike Commodore.
“You gotta be kidding me @AerLingus, is @GrahamDeLaet supposed to play @TheOpen with rentals?” Commodore tweeted.
DeLaet responded “this is exactly why we need enforcers in golf. You’d be my number one pick to go throw your weight around their offices.”
Not too long after, Aer Lingus replied on Twitter “@GrahamDeLaet Thank you. We’re checking for an update and we’ll be in touch.”
