“The whole entire Honda Civic was in the house, sitting on the couch,” said Laine, who is a tenant in the house.

He was jarred awake just after 3 a.m. by the crash, which saw the car end up in the basement of the house. It happened on Rink Avenue, not far from Courtney Street.
Police had been called to the area about a noisy party in the 200 block of Church Drive. Those who called said there were people on the street. While on their way to the party, officers saw a man laying at the intersection of Rink Avenue and Church Drive.
They also spotted the car in the basement of the house.
Alcohol is believed to have played a role. Regina police say the driver was arrested on the scene.
Collin Bradley Guillet, 20, was charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a vehicle. He will appear in court on Friday afternoon.
Laine said there were two other people in the vehicle. Police say the man and woman as well as the driver were not injured. No one inside the house was hurt either.
