Saskatoon police continue to search for a man connected to an armed robbery in Saskatoon Thursday night.
Police got a call around 11:40 p.m., from a woman saying a man stole her car keys at gunpoint in the 300 block of 26th Street East. The male suspect ended up taking the woman’s blue 2009 Subaru Forester with a Nova Scotia license plate.
Police tried to track the vehicle with a canine unit, but failed.
The suspect is described as being an aboriginal male in his 20’s, around six-feet two-inches in height, with a slim build and short black hair.
He was wearing a T-shirt, dark pants with a black or blue hat and had a bandana covering his face. The weapon used was described as a handgun.
