For the second time in just a few weeks, a business at the Victoria Square Mall has had cell phones stolen from it.
Regina police received a call Wednesday morning. A business reported that someone had broken into the store before 5 a.m. and stolen more than 100 cell phones.
Police are gathering evidence and collecting information in order to identify a suspect or suspects. They are asking Regina residents to take note of any suspicious online activity regarding cell phones for sale.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Back in the middle of June, more than $20,000 worth of cell phones were stolen from the Bell kiosk at the same mall. Devon Mccabe, 29, was arrested and charged with break, enter, and commit theft. The bell kiosk confirms that the July 1 robbery wasn’t at their store.
