A 25-year-old man is accused of making threats with a pellet gun outside a Saskatchewan school Tuesday afternoon.
According to RCMP, the man was outside Senator Myles Venne School on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.
The school enacted safety protocols and was placed on lockdown as RCMP members made immediate patrols.
Officers tracked and found a suspect at a residence a few blocks away from the school.
A man was taken into custody without incident and a pellet gun was found on the premises.
No one was injured in the incident.
Tommy Lavallee, 25, of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band faces several weapons-related charges, along with using threats for intimidation and one count of mischief.
Lavallee is remanded to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Thursday.
Lac La Ronge Indian Band is located 240 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
