Logan Fischer and Josh Ewanchyna were the difference makers as the Saskatoon Hilltops ran to a 52-26 win over Winnipeg.
The pair of running backs combined for 248 yards on the ground and five touchdowns as the Hilltops’ record moves to 5-1 on the season.
Ewanchyna scored three of those TD’s while Fischer added a pair and rushed for 175 yards himself.
Sam Mike and Jason Price added a touchdown reception each from quarterback Jordan Walls. Walls went 16-19 passing on the day with 321 yards and the two majors.
The Hilltops are back at home on Sunday, Oct. 1 to take on the Edmonton Wildcats (1-5).
