Two people accused of stealing a truck and trailer out of Nipawin have now been linked by police to a rash of break-ins and thefts in Saskatchewan.
Around 5: 15 a.m. Tuesday, Tisdale RCMP responded to the initial stolen vehicle report stating a truck and trailer were taken from Nipawin and heading towards Tisdale.
The vehicle was found in the town and a man and woman were taken into custody.
Police said subsequent to the arrest, officers searched the vehicle and found stolen property that linked the suspects to break and enters and thefts that happened in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Nipawin and Tisdale.
The two suspects are in custody and are set to appear in Nipawin Provincial Court Wednesday.
Tisdale and Nipawin RCMP continue to investigate.
